The time has come to fulfill our obligations to the Dallas/Ft Worth Community and volunteer for our first community services project for the year. We need volunteers to participate in this fight. Around the world, women now make up half of all people living with HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus (im-myoo-no-duh-fish-in-see), and AIDS, acquired immunodeficiency syndrome. In the U.S., more than 25 percent of new infections are in women. Women of color are especially impacted by the disease. Education encompasses teaching and learning specific skills, and also something less tangible but more profound: the imparting of knowledge, positive judgment and well-developed wisdom.
“It is our goal to continue to provide events and content that will expand the professional, personal and lifestyle growth of the women who are apart of our growing community of women.This initiative involves building coalitions within and outside of Black lesbian community. Our goal is to continue to inspire, empower and help women to celebrate the brilliance within them"!
